About 50 years ago, I inherited my Fathers’ ring.  It was Gold and mounted a 1/2 X 3/4 black onyx stone with a .23 Diamond in the center. Unfortunately, over the years, the Onyx cracked, then cracked a second time.  When I managed to crack it again, I took it off and began looking for a jeweler that could restore it. Taking it to the best jewelry store in our small town; they found a stone that would fit, however after cracking new  stones while attempting to bevel and enlarge the mounting hole for the diamond, they called and said I would need to look in the metroplex for a gem cutter.  Finding GEM CLASSICS online, we drove the 85 miles to meet with them. While speaking with Gabe, Becky called out from the back that she had already found the stone and got it ordered. Impressed with the family, Becky, Gabe and his fiancee, we left the ring with them.   Shortly, I received a text that it was done, so we made the drive up.  Unbelievably, the ring looked like it was brand new!  Absolutely perfect restoration.  Gabe also buffed out some rough spots, rounded an edge and buffed it to a brand new sheen!  Best money I’ve spent in a while!  Gotta tell you, these days it is hard to find a real live craftsman.  If you need jewelry work done, Gabe is your guy!

A wonderful family owned store! We needed to have my engagement ring resized and the store owner and his wife, very kind people, took care of it right away!
